UDSA Board of Trustees
The Utility Debt Securitization Authority (UDSA) is a component unit of LIPA and a government entity responsible for LIPA’s financial reporting with a mission to authorize, issue, and sell restructuring bonds to finance the purchase of restructuring property.
The Governor-appointed UDSA Board of Trustees has a focused mission, with a goal of keeping costs low for LIPA customers by managing the Authority’s debt by paying upfront and ongoing financing costs—lowering the costs of electric service for customers.
