The Long Island Power Authority (the “Authority”) is soliciting information and expressions of interest from potential service providers (PSPs) of electric utility management services and other interested parties.

The Authority’s transmission and distribution system on Long Island, New York, serves approximately 1.1 million customers. The Authority contracts for services in support of the day-to-day operation and management of its electric utility system. These services include, but are not limited to, transmission and distribution facility operation, planning, engineering, construction, customer service, meter reading, billing, collection and financial and operational reporting, along with associated support services.

The contract between the Authority and the current service provider expires December 31, 2013.
