A recent decision issued by the New York State Attorney General on LIPA’s Charitable Giving program stated that the program “appears to conflict” with the utility’s objective “to save ratepayers money by controlling and reducing utility costs.” Consequently, the Charitable Giving program has not been re-authorized.
