LIPA is committed to assisting not-for-profit organizations in our service territory with programs and services designed to meet the special needs of this important segment of Long Island.
These range from enhanced energy efficiency programs offered through our Clean Energy Initiative, to energy rate options for qualifying organizations to assist in controlling and lowering cost.
Commercial Efficiency
Program
Offers technical assistance services and substantial
financial incentives for commercial customers who choose
energy-efficient equipment and systems.
Solar Pioneer Program
Supplement your home's energy needs with solar electricity,
also known as photovoltaics or "PV". LIPA is offering a
$1.00 more for our NFP customers. This extra incentive is
available on a first come, first served basis. For more

LIPA Trade Ally
LIPA is building partnerships with Long Island Trade Allies
to increase the level of awareness of newer-more efficient
technologies, enhance our delivery of service, and serve as
a reliable resource.
Retrofit Energy and Capacity
Program
A partnership between the customer, LIPA
and a list of LIPA-selected energy service companies or
ESCOs. The ESCO will evaluate your facilities and make
recommendations for upgrades and improvements that will help
cut energy usage.
Religious Customers, Veteran Organizations and qualified community residences may choose service under an appropriate residential or non-residential service classification subject to a minimum term of one year. For additional information on non-residential rates please call
